WELCOME MAMA I am so glad your here! I fell in love with everything lactation related after the birth of my first daughter. I am now a mama to three girls and following my dreams. I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist completing Pathway 3 to becoming an IBCLC. I want to provide support for whatever YOU need from me. Need help latching? Lets do it. storing breastmilk

here are some guidelines to storing breastmilk

counter top/freshly expressed milk – room temp less than 77, 4 hours is recommended but 7-8 can be acceptable if your room is cold

insulated cooler bag – 24 hours as long as you have ice packs in contact with your milk containers

refrigerator – store in the back of the fridge , use within 4-5 days, although it could be good up to a week if handled properly

freezer- the freezer that comes with your refrigerator, it is recommended to use within 6 months however there is still so many uses for breastmilk

deep freezer – 12 months
