WELCOME MAMA I am so glad your here! I fell in love with everything lactation related after the birth of my first daughter. I am now a mama to three girls and following my dreams. I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist completing Pathway 3 to becoming an IBCLC. I want to provide support for whatever YOU need from me. Need help latching? Lets do it. Exclusively pumping and need guidance? Lets do it! I want to support you from your FIRST drop of milk to your LAST.

traveling with breastmilk

I was recently traveling and was curious about traveling with breastmilk, or other baby food.

Formula, breastmilk, toddler drinks and baby/toddler food in amounts greater than 3.4 ounces or 100 ml ARE allowed in carry on bags and do not need to fit within a quart sized bag

this also applies to supplies needed to keep breastmilk cool – freezer packs, ice packs and gel packs are allowed regardless if you have breastmilk or your baby with you

easiest way to have smooth travels is to inform the TSA officer at the beginning of your screening process that you are carrying breastmilk (or formula to infant/toddler food) in amounts greater than 3.4 ounces
